Every report is different; researching and producing a report can take many months.

In order to provide a quote all requested information (if known and however brief) must be supplied. Paid time includes checking any previous research or family trees. You can send me a share invite if you have a family tree on Ancestry or Find My Past.

If the report is to be a gift, you need to request the research well in advance of the date you need it by.

Tailor Made Research Packages

This research is tailored to your requirements. Perhaps you would like to know more about an ancestor who was in the military, someone who was imprisoned or who emigrated. This research is a way to discover more about ancestors whose lives were recorded in contemporary records of the time.

​
Research the maternal and paternal ancestors of one person up 8 great-grandparents​
Research a single surname back as far as records allow; typically to around 1837 when civil registration began
Your comprehensive narrative report will be presented in a hardback springback binder. The report could also include, dependent on the information found, any of the following:​​​

Please contact me if you would like one of my services. I will send you a secure online form for your completion which will provide me with some initial information. If further research is viable, I will be able to provide you with a quote.

Deposit & Payment
​After the initial free assessment, if further research is possible and you wish me to proceed, I will request a deposit of 50% before work can begin (non-refundable).
The remaining balance is payable once the report is print-ready.
All payments to be made via secure bank transfer (BACS).
The price includes postage and packing to a UK mainland address. Delivery outside of the UK at additional cost.
Completion and Delivery
​Completion of the report can vary depending on the level of research required and current waiting times for documents and certificates which have to be ordered from the relevant record offices. You will be kept regularly informed of progress by email.

Extra Copies of the Research Report
​Extra copies of the report can be purchased. Presented in a springback binder the price includes postage and packing to a UK mainland address. Payment is required before reports are printed. Please contact me for further details.
